  • Overview and Responsibilities

    • Administers the Epic Clarity and Caboodle environments and ensure that user administration is performed to meet service level agreements and standards while mentoring others.

    • Ensures that infrastructure components are used consistent to facilitate the development of reporting processes

    • Monitors and audits the Epic Database environments for hardware, software, memory and storag.

    • Install software & hardware upgrades and refreshes as needed.

    • Analyze, develop, and deploy strategies for data acquisition, transformation, and loading.

    • Communicates with customer, project team and vendors in a timely manner and escalates issues & risks appropriately

    • Identify, develop and document detailed ETL data requirements and detailed specifications.

    • Identify, develop and document detailed ETL data requirements and detailed specifications.
    • Provide timely and accurate estimates for analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment tasks
    • Support and maintain the development, test and production for Epic Clarity and Caboodle environments.
    • Collaborate with the Clarity report developers, Business Analysts, Reporting Workbench and Radar Administrator.
    • Maintain/Update documentation needed throughout the reporting environment.
    • Support various Windows servers within the Epic environment
    • Participate in the support of the Epic print environment
    • Assist organization in the Technical Dress Rehearsal process
    • Perform the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of networks and computer systems with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
    • Set up user accounts on organization's servers.
    • Run necessary system backups.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems on local area networks (LAN) and data networks using Microsoft operating systems.
    • May perform some programming and may be responsible for script writing.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Experience:

     

    Minimum Required: 6 years of relevant experience.

    Preferred/desired: 9 or more years of relevant experience.

     

    Education:

     

    Required: Appropriate IS Education/Training or Bachelor's Degree or higher (in related field).

    Preferred/Desired: Bachelor's Degree or higher (in related field).

     

    Special Skills:

     

    Minimum required

    • Aptitude and skill in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems assessments.
    • SQL Database Administration required.
    • Maintain/Update documentation needed througout the reporting environment to ensure compliance with established standards.
    • Must complete EPIC CLARITY certification within 90 days after Epic Class.
    • Must keep certification current as condition of continued employment.

    Preferred/Desired: Proven experience that demonstrates advanced knowledge of complex computer design and support.

     

    Licensure: Driver's License (current)

     

    Expert knowledge with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies

    Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO’s

     

    Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS

     

    Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts
