Overview and Responsibilities

Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking application and technical assistance over the phone or email. Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and respond to telephone calls and emails requesting support.
  • Perform periodic ad-hoc training and provide guidance to end-users.
  • Identify research and resolve problems related to all applications.
  • Document, track and monitor the problems to ensure a timely resolution from start to finish.
  • Performs quality control by reviewing incidents before they are passed on to second level groups.
  • Assist associate team members with trouble shooting incidents.

Qualifications

Must have an active clinical licensure (RN,LPN, Pham Tech, Phlebotomy Tech, Lab Tech)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Office suite in a network and desktop environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Remote access tools a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of EPIC “How To’s”
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to give and take constructive criticism
  • Ability to work well in a team environment a must.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, often with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility with overtime and/or temporary schedule changes a must
  • Help desk or desktop support experience, in a healthcare setting a plus.
