Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Define organizations system requirements by analyzing business structure, policies, and operations. Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document system requirements. Research and recommend systems solutions that enable organization to achieve business goals. Conduct business needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to assist in aligning business initiatives with system solutions. Use development specifications to create detailed test cases and analyze results. May create end-user documentation and deliver training. Work with internal departments or with external clients. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide daily and ongoing support to corporate wide BTS related initiatives and projects
    • Investigate, analyze, and evaluate system problems, trouble calls, and requests. Follow defined service level agreements and other requirements such as weekly updates.
    • Formulate and coordinate problem resolution to meet or exceed customer expectations by consulting and collaborating with vendors, operational and BTS colleagues and working within system standards. Seeks root cause and resolution
    • Works in work unit to cross train on all tasks and responsibilities to ensure that customer needs can always be addressed
    • Provides and maintains detailed documentation for all support areas to include help desk and site support
    • Utilize Baptist Management system problem solving tools as needed to resolve problems or discover root cause. (TWI, A3, Kata)
  • Implements new projects used in corporate wide BTS related initiatives
    • Follows enterprise project management methodology in managing all projects.
    • Communicate project status and issues appropriately to stake holders
    • Leads projects as assigned – can be multi facility and large in scope
    • Apply knowledge, skills,, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations
    • Works with procurement to negotiate business terms of contracts. Ensures review of all contract addendums. Follow terms of contract related to scope and cost.
    • Collaborates effectively with colleagues, vendors, and consultans
  • Evaluates, analyzes business, technology, application
    • Performs annual analysis of technology/application/capability to ensure that it is meeting needs. Validates needs met, return on investment, etc. Produces recommendations related to any changes needed after evaluation
    • Maintain knowledge of new technologies and systems in order to review, recommend, select, and implement new system for the benefit of the organization.
    • Maintains knowledge of total cost of ownership including purchase cost, upgrade cost, and any ongoing cost.
    • Assist director/manager with team budget monitoring and resolution of budget exceptions

Qualifications

Experience for Intermediate

Minimum of four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Special Skills:

Experience with business applications is preferred

Healthcare experience preferred

Proficient in communicating with a variety of customers

Team work

Project management

Great verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adjust to changing environment

Ability to multi-task and reprioritize as business issues arise
